Adrigole House has been an amazing home to bring up my 2 sons. They went to the Adrigole National School next door which was wonderful. We all kayak, sail, hike and swim in the local rivers sea and hills.

There are a few different bus services that help when visitors are coming to stay and an incredible daily Cork City courier service. Pegs Shop over the road keep a tab for us, which is really handy for picking up supplies. The community here is incredibly supportive and friendly.

Supervalue in Castletownbere was upgraded recently and has some yum produce, plus the new Supervalue and Lidl in Bantry.

We have Fibre Broadband which is brilliant for working from home, streaming, downloading, skyping etc. Mobile 3 network is 4G, but vodaphone is terrible.

We swim in the river and sea here alot, which is wonderfully clean. Plenty of hiking, sailing, kayaking, cycling too. If you have always wanted your own boat mooring, then we can help you set one up in Adrigole Harbour. If foraging is your thing, then summer elderflower and blackberries galore are in abundance…
